Every year, the Grand Rapids independent radio station WYCE hosts a 5+ hour long award show & concert featuring a long list of favorite Michigan musicians. The Jammie Awards showcase and honor the work of local musicians and producers. The 21st annual show in 2020 hosted over 20 different bands, performing on 3 different stages. A free show for all ages. In the last 20 years, the Jammies have become an opportunity for a variety of local groups to perform under one roof and celebrate the music and community that is made here in Michigan. Video production provided by the staff & volunteer community of GRTV, Grand Rapids Public Access. WYCE & GRTV are both a service of the Community Media Center.
