Ali Akbar Khan (14 april 1922 - 19 june 2009) was often referred to as Khansahib or by the title Ustad (Master), being known for his virtuosity in playing the sarod (an Indian stringed instrument); often appearing alongside Ravi Shankar.
Gordon Waller (4 June 1945 - 17 July 2009) .. "Gordon" along with Peter Asher formed the 1960's duo Peter & Gordon. .. "Peter" is the brother to Jane Asher; who in the mid-1960's was the girlfriend of Paul McCartney; who along with John Lennon in 1964, co-wrote Peter & Gordon's biggest hit, "A World Without Love" (a song never recorded by The Beatles).
