This ambitious effort concerning the life and times of Sigmund Freud (1856 - 1939), was Eric Woolfson's only solo disc; eventually being produced as a stage musical. .. Alan Parsons produced and engineered the release "Freudiana", as well as composed one of the instrumentals.
This debut release from The Alan Parsons Project featured songs based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe (1809 - 1849).
After starting out as a composer, Eric Woolfson, in the early 1970's, turned his efforts to management. His first two signings were Carl Douglas (who would have a hit single with this track), and [future-partner], engineer/record producer Alan Parsons (Beatles "Abbey Road", Pink Floyd "Dark Side Of The Moon").

Eric Woolfson (18 march 1945 - 2 december 2009) was co-founder of The Alan Parsons Project. Eric was one of the many lead vocalists as well as keyboardists. (also) The Alan Parsons Project's main songwriter and executive producer of all 10 APP releases. .. lead vocals on this track are Eric.
