It wouldn't have fit in with the Nashville sound of the day. They use asked me 'Why Don't You Move down to Nashville?' I said why don't you kiss my ass? To fit in to some kind of plug-in thing? (to fit in a mold) I don't think so."

The Kim Wilson's Blues All-Stars play at Callahan's in Detroit tonight and Martha's Midway Tavern & Dancehall in South Bend IN on Sun. The band consists of Billy Flynn on guitar, Little Frank, guitar, Barrelhouse Chuck at piano, Richard "Bigfoot" Innes on drums, Larry "The Mole" Taylor on bass. The majority of these guys played on the soundtrack to the movie Cadillac Records.
