Twin Shadow is the stage name of American musician George Lewis Jr. In 2012, the sophomore album, Confess, which was produced by Lewis himself was released. Lewis gained inspiration for the album after experiencing a motorcycle accident in Boston.
The Black Swans are wasting no time, releasing a second album in as many years on Misra Records. Titled Occasion For Song, it comes out July 16 and “deals with the death of founding member and violinist Noel Sayre. Noel died tragically in a swimming accident in Portsmouth, Ohio – July of 2008″ The first song being streamed, “Portsmouth Ohioâ€, chronicles the day of Noel’s death.

The British band wrote and rehearsed for the album in an old church in North London. Richard Sauberlich - vocals, guitar, piano Hamish Crombie - bass Geoff Lea - drums
