HEARTLESS BASTARDS is an American garage rock band formed in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2003. The band continues boldly pushing their unique brand of rock 'n' roll into new shapes on their brand new fifth album "Restless Ones." Singer Erika Wennerstrom's spellbinding vocals remain front and center, and her one-of-a-kind voice is as primal, cathartic, and indefinable as ever.

Today's WYCE Artist of the Day is Elephant Revival. Elephant Revival is a 5-piece band out of Colorado. Formed in 2006, their style of music is often referred to as "transcendental folk," and incorporates elements of Scottish/Celtic fiddle tunes, original folk pieces, traditional ballads, bluegrass, psychedelic country, indie rock, reggae, 40s/50s jazz standards and an occasional hip-hop beat. All members of the band are multi-instrumentalists and contribute vocals and to songwriting. The band has 3 albums and an EP to its credit, the most recent being the fan-funded project “These Changing Skies.â€
