Today’s WYCE Artist of the Day is LIZZ WRIGHT. Vocalist Lizz Wright has come along way in the 12 years since her debut album Salt, traversing her own soul and gospel fuelled path. Back after a five-year period of global tours and a move from frenetic New York to the purifying nature of the mountains of North Carolina. This Friday we welcome the return of Georgia born singer and composer Lizz Wright with the release of her 5th album, Freedom & Surrender. Often pegged as a jazz or gospel singer, the new approach places her against a groovy R&B backdrop with a couple torch numbers in the mix.
