WYCE is a media sponsor for Ladyfest G-R, presenting its 5th annual celebration of the strengths, talents and creative power of women and girls in our community. The event takes place on Saturday, April 2nd in the Heartside neighborhood. This year's festivities include workshops, spoken word and musical performances, a variety show, and headlining performances from TEEN, Moving Panoramas and Yolonda Lavender & DC. Proceeds benefit the Grand Rapids chapter of Girls Rock, a camp which helps girls build self-esteem and find their voices through unique programming.  More information can be found at lady fest gr dot com
