9/11 Courtyard Concert -- Seven Steps Up (click for more info)
Courtyard Concerts presents headliner Tony Lucca for their annual outdoor mini-festival concert on Sunday, September 11th at 3:30pm. Opening the show is special guest Hey Monea [pronounced Moe-Nay]. Lucca, a Nashville-based Michigan native and a top finalist on NBC's The Voice, brings his rock band for the annual event. Over 700 people attended last year's show in the courtyard at 116 South Jackson Street in Spring Lake. The event includes local food vendors plus craft beers from Grand Armory Brewing. The event is made possible through the generosity of local sponsors including this year's Platinum sponsors: Grand Haven Custom Molding and Lighthouse Insurance Company. We are currently accepting donations of LPs, CDs and Cassettes for this fundraising event held at the Eastown Streetfair on Saturday, September 10th. Your donations of music could be tax deductible and all proceeds of the sale will go on to support WYCE! Any donations of LPs, CDs and cassettes are encouraged, regardless of artist or genre, as long as they're in good shape and in their original case. Donations will be accepted through Thursday, September 8th. Donations may be dropped off to the Community Media Center at 711 Bridge Street North West. Email quinn@grcmc.org to arrange a time for drop off. Thank you!

Celebrate Summer, Welcome Fall, and Experience Eastown at the 43rd Annual Eastown Community Association and Eastown Buisness Association Streetfair this Saturday, September 10 from 9am to 8pm.

This all day, family friendly celebration of arts, crafts, food and music will take place along Wealthy Street between Giddings Avenue and Lake Drive and the first few blocks of Ethel Avenue.                                                                                                                      

The Street Fair features over 120 booths from some of Michigan's finest artists, craftspeople, businesses and nonprofit organizations - including the WYCE CD & Record Sale. Attendees also have the chance to sample delicious fare from local restaurants and vendors.
