Founders Brewing Company presents the Cottage Bar's 35th Annual Chili-Cook Off, with more than 40 cooks competing for bragging rights.


The Event takes place Saturday, September 17 from noon to 6pm at The Cottage Bar, located at 18 La Grave Ave South East in downtown Grand Rapids.  

Proceeds from the event go to Grand Rapids Whitewater, putting the Rapids back in the Grand.

Live music provided by Channing and Quinn, The Outer Vibe, and Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish.

Support for WYCE comes from Kalamazoo State Theatre - presenting comedian Hannibal Buress as he brings his "Hannibal Montana-bal Experience" national standup comedy tour on Sunday, September 18th at 6:30 pm. 

Hannibal Buress is an Emmy and WGA Award nominated comedian, writer, producer, and actor with appearances in a variety of hit TV shows and feature films under his belt. 

The New York Times lauded him as one of the most "supremely gifted and respected" comics around.
