The inaugural Snow Days event hits Downtown GR February 10th through 14th.
The Festival of Frozen Fun features more than 50 unique ice sculptures totaling 17 tons of ice; The Rail Jam ski and snowboard competition in Ah-Nab-Awen Park;
and the Human Hungry Hungry Hippos Tournament on ice at Rosa Parks Circle -- All packed into five full days to get outside and enjoy winter in Downtown GR.
Snow Days is organized by Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., the City of Grand Rapids, and dozens of community partners.

This Thursday, February 9th, St. Cecilia Music Center welcomes Pokey LaFarge and with his six piece band as part of the Acoustic Cafe Folk Series.
Multi instrumentalist and entertainer extraordinaire Pokey LaFarge has won Best Americana Album at the Independent Music Awards two years running and is known for his high energy, toe-tapping shows.
Opening act Jack Grelle starts the night at 7:15 with Pokey taking the stage at 8:15.
All ticket holders are invited to the post-concert Meet the Artist reception.
