WYCE's Spring Fund Drive is on its way - Friday, April 21st through 28th! - as we take a look back in celebration of 30 years of listener-powered music radio in West Michigan!
The unique music variety we've shared for three decades is made possible 100% by donations by our listener sponsors... We need you to keep doing your part!
We receive no funds from any university, religious organization, or from the government. So tune in April 21st through 28th to make your financial contribution!
It's not too early to donate online at WYCE dot org! Your early gift may be used as challenge funds - encouraging others to give during the drive - motivating those individuals to take the big step from listener -- to listener-sponsor!
The Acoustic Café Folk Series continues at St. Cecilia Music Center - tomorrow night! - Thursday April 6th - with a show by country music's rising star sensation Margo Price and her full band.
Margo's debut album "Midwest Farmer's Daughter" marks the arrival of a singular new talent. It was recorded at the legendary Sun Studios and is an invitation, a mission statement and a starkly poetic summary of the 32-year old singer's life.
Her music recalls hardships and heartaches. Her voice is an alluring mix of vulnerability and resilience, calling to mind the likes of Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton.
Margo Price performs Thursday, April 6th at 7:30pm at St. Cecilia Music Center. Tickets available at "SCMC dash online dot org"
