Join WYCE as we join "Downtown Grand Rapids Inc." to kick off the holiday season with "Light Up Downtown" at Rosa Parks Circle on Friday, December 1st from 5 to 7 pm.

WYCE Station Manager Quinn Mathews and El Mundo Musical's Gabriella De La Vega host this annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and opening of the Rosa Parks Circle ice rink.

This December 1st event features food trucks, carolers, free photos with Santa, and more holiday fun for the whole family.

As you enjoy skating this winter at the Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink we're proud to say that your soundtrack will be "A World of Music" from your community radio station, WYCE

Introducing TWO new shows for your WYCE Sunday night lineup!

Beginning this Sunday, November 26, tune in at 9pm for Vibrations Radio, dedicated to the vast spectrum of electronic music. Looking to Detroit Techno and Chicago house as the foundation; music associated with and influenced by that foundation is played to explore lineage.

Vibrations Radio is followed up at 10pm by FIVE IT, a weekly Hip-Hop-centric show, hosted by five-time WYCE Jammie Award Winner, Rick Chyme. Each one-hour episode features a healthy dose of current Michigan & Midwestern sounds, supplemented by music from all regions and eras.

WYCE's Sunday night lineup is 6pm to midnight every week here on 88.1-FM!

WYCE and SectionLive welcome Billy Strings - live in concert at The Intersection - tonight!

Raised in Michigan and based in Nashville, Billy Strings' profile as a guitarist and singer in the acoustic/bluegrass scene continues to grow. He has performed with Del McCoury, David Grisman and Larry Keel, and was the winner of International Bluegrass Music Association's 2016 Momentum Awards Instrumentalist of the Year. He's touring in support of the brand new release "Turmoil and Tinfoil".

Special guest Mark Lavengood opens the show.
