Concerts Under the Stars at the Grand Rapids Public Museum's Chaffee Planetarium is a concert series that combines the wonder of the cosmos and the wonder of music.

The series continues this Thursday, March 22nd with Dan Rickabus and his album of cosmically-conscious, existentially-charged, groove-oriented dream-folk music

This Concert Under the Stars will feature a 9-piece band performing the vibrant, immersive music of "Void / Journal", as well as a live light show on the full dome, with 4 K visuals and state-of-the-art surround sound!

TODAY, hear Des-ir-ray Corm-ee-ay, senior director at the Albright Stonebridge Group, on "South Africa at a Crossroads: Implications for U.S.-South Africa Relations." The program is offered twice: from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Covenant Fine Arts Center at Calvin College, and from 6 to 7:15 p.m. in the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center.

UICA features gallery exhibitions of work from regional, national and international artists throughout the year and hosts a range of events including concerts, performance art, artist receptions and gallery talks.

Now showing: UICA presents CAMPUS, an expansive exhibition featuring the work of distinguished artists and designers who work as part of the expansive Ferris State University, Kendall College of Art and Design, and Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts' campus.

Work by faculty and staff members of the University network will be on view through May 13th featuring a wide range of visual practices, spanning all genres and media.
