A songwriter, singer, guitarist and bandleader from Milwaukee, , who likes African, Latin American and Caribbean music. He has released four albums and an EP with his band, Paul Cebar & the Milwaukeeans, which have received airplay from adult album alternative stations across the US, album with all his bands including the latest incarnation Paul Cebar and Tomorrow Sound, and a solo album.
An Americana/folk band founded in March 2012 in Chicago. The band is led by husband and wife, JT Nero and Allison Russell. Russell is formerly of the Canadian roots act Po' Girl. The duo-fronted band refers to their music as "secular gospel". Nero, a Midwesterner with strong family ties to Chicago, Illinois, has made the Windy City his home since 2002. Russell grew up in Montreal and has lived with Nero in Chicago since 2009. In 2014, Russell gave birth to their first daughter and hit the road with her four weeks later.

And the winner is ... The Zannies! The Pathway to the Pasture band contest at The Intersection's The Stache on Friday boasted outstanding performance by four W. Michigan bands, including The Zannies, Biomassive, Quantum Fleek and The Smokin' Dobroleles. The Zannies will now get to play Cowpie Music Festival in August.
