Acoustic Cafe on WYCE brought to you by St. Cecilia Music Center - home to the Acoustic Café Folk Concert Series in Grand Rapids. 

The first show of the 2018-19 folk series is with Pokey LaFarge on Thursday, October 4. 

This special solo show features Pokey on guitar and vocals. Incorporating elements of early jazz, ragtime, country blues, Western swing and beyond, Pokey LaFarge has created a vibrant, expressive body of work that embodies a musical vision and vivid storytelling that is all his own. 

He's earned a reputation as a charismatic live performer. Catch his return to the folk series at St. Cecilia Music Center on October 4. 

A post-concert party where the artist signs merchandise is included in your ticket. Tickets available at scmc-online.org.

Earthwork Harvest Gathering 2018, September 21-23 in Lake City, Michigan! 

Hosted by Michigan's own Seth Bernard on his family farm, Harvest Gathering isn't just a family-friendly music festival. It's a yearly tradition, a community summit for artists, artisans and activists to gather together and collaborate. 

The Harvest Gathering Lineup - including a schedule of one-of-a-kind skill-swap workshops - is online at EarthworkHarvestGathering.com!
