WYCE Artist of the Day -- ROSANNE CASH Daughter of Johnny Cash, Rosanne Cash is an American singer-songwriter and author. Although Cash is often classified as a country artist, her music draws on many genres, including folk, pop, rock, blues, and most notably Americana. In the 1980s, she had a string of chart-topping singles, which crossed musical genres and landed on both the country and pop charts. One of the country’s pre-eminent singer/songwriters, Rosanne Cash has released 15 albums of extraordinary songs that have earned four GRAMMY Awards and nominations for 11 more over her nearly 40 year career. In 2015, she was inducted into the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame. Her latest album, She Remembers Everything (released last month on the Blue Note label) is her first in five years and was produced with longtime collaborator and husband John Leventhal.

Raised in Michigan and based in Nashville, Billy Strings' profile as a guitarist and singer in the acoustic/bluegrass scene continues to grow. He has performed with Del McCoury, David Grisman and Larry Keel, and was the winner of International Bluegrass Music Association's 2016 Momentum Awards Instrumentalist of the Year. He's touring in support of the brand new release "Turmoil and Tinfoil".

Special guest Jon Stickly Trio opens the show on Friday and Special guest Larry Keel Experience opens the show Saturday.

All Ages Welcome. Doors at 7pm

WYCE and the Meanwhile Film Series present a screening of "Stop Making Sense" Tuesday November 27th at 8PM in Wealthy Theatre 

"Stop Making Sense" is an iconic concert film where Director Jonathan Demme captures the frantic energy and artsy groove of The Talking Heads. 

The band's frontman, David Byrne, first appears on an empty stage armed with only an acoustic guitar, and is gradually joined by the band and a cadre of backup singers... culminating in a performance featuring an enormous suit.
