The City of Grand Rapids is holding a workshop for the community to learn more about the approval of a recent ordinance governing the installation of small cell wireless facilities.
The ordinance places restrictive measures on municipal
control of small cell technology deployment -
put in place by the Federal
Communications Commission to encourage 5G development in the state as quickly
as possible.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, July 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the City's Water Resource Recovery Facility Ottotorium, 1300 Market Ave. SW.
