On Monday, March 2, from 6 to 7:15 p.m. in the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center, it's information and conversation with Marisa Endor of Georgetown University on "Green Peacebuilding: Justice in the Face of Climate Change".
This event will also be repeated on Tuesday, March 3, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Covenant Fine Arts Center at Calvin University

Skip James Was One Of The Most Influential Early Bluesmen, But His Importance As A Stylist Remained Undiscovered Until He Was Brought Out Of A Long Retirement By The Folk/Blues Revival Of The Early 60's. In 1930 Skip Was Picked Up By A Scout For Paramount Records, And He Cut A Few Tracks In A Two Day Session, But The Records Did Not Sell Well As The Depression Began To Bite. After Over 30 Years Retirement From The Blues, Skip Was Rediscovered, And Appeared At The Newport Folk Festival In 1964; His Impact On The Blues Is Without Question. Nehemiah Curtis James Passed On in 1969.
