A Bluesman Based In New York's Hudson Valley Whose Career Began In The 1940's, But Not Widely Known Until The Mid-90's. He Toured The Medicine Shows With Pinetop Perkins And Ike Turner; Spent A Decade With Earl Hooker, Including With The Short-Lived Band Of Hooker, Turner, Perkins And Albert King, Which Broke Up When Hooker And King, Two Titans Of Blues Guitar Came To Blows, Afterwards Davis Disappeared. Re-emerging In The 1990's, Davis Recorded Several Albums, Including Being Part Of Levon Helm's Midnight ramble Sessions. Off The Road In 2008 Due To Health Conditions, Little Sammy Davis Passed On Ten Years Later.
