The "Bandanna Girls" Were Mozelle France And May Hopkins. As A Duo, Their Entire Recorded Output Consisted Of Four Sides Recorded In One Session During 1939. Both Singers Came From The Ma Rainey School Of Swagger, Touring With Traveling Minstrel Shows Throughout The Deep South During The 1930's. Not Much Is Known Of The Ladies Whereabouts After The Recording Session; Another Footnote In The Rich Tradition We Call The Blues.
