An American Piedmont Guitarist With A Sporadic Career Spanning Five Decades Working With Blind Boy Fuller, Pink Anderson And Peg Leg Sam. Tate Formed a Trio Called The Carolina Blackbirds In 1932 Performing Mostly On Local Radio - Served In The U.S. Army And Worked As A Mason Until The Early '50's. He And Anderson Resumed Their Playing Partnership Until A Stroke Disabled Pink During The 1970's. Tate's Recorded His Only Album In 1962, Performed Periodically During That Decade. Charles Henry Tate Passed On In 1972.
