During The 1920's Sleepy John Long And Time Associates Hammie Nixon And Yank Rachell Played In Various Jug Band Around Memphis, Gigged Around The Southern Circuit With Robert Nighthawk And Sonny Boy The First, Eventually Recording Their First Thirty Sides In Chicago. Sleepy John Faded Into Obscurity During The 1950's, However, Became An Important And Influential Re-discovery Of The Folk/Blues Revival Of The Early 60's. John Adam Estes Passed Away In 1977
