The Best-Known And Most Widely Recorded Blues Man Associated With The Ark-La-Tex Scenes, Second Only To Lead Belly. Leaving The Cotton Fields And Relocating To Dallas, Thomas Cut His First Sides At Age Eighteen In 1929, And Continued The Itinerant Musicians Life Leading Him To Los Angeles A Few Years Later. The Influences Of The Previous Years, And His Songwriting Prowess Had Taken Root When Thomas Resumes Recording In The 1940's. Although Commercial Success Eluded Him, "Baby Face" Had A Seventy-Plus Year Career And Laid The Groundwork For What We Now Know As 'Rock & Roll'. Jesse "Baby Face' thomas Passed On In 1995.
