William Tyler and Marisa Anderson shared a new single, “Hurricane Light.” The track is set to appear on the duo’s forthcoming collaborative album, Lost Futures, arriving on August 27 via Thrill Jockey. Tyler: "On the day we recorded this, the sky in Portland had this very charged and haunted light to it – the weighted calm before the wind storms and then the wildfires moved in. I think we discussed this song being properly played by two old folks on a pier somewhere over a couple empty bottles of wine. Marisa’s telecaster has so much internal sustain that I think I barely had to even play – the guitar sort of just rang out on its own, I ended up actually playing probably half of the notes I imagined."
