Blues Spotlight: Sometimes Thought Of As A Classic Blues Singer, Rosetta Howard Came Up During A Slightly Later Era. Not Much Is Known About Her Life, Taking The Chicago Stages In 1932, And Later With the Harlem Hamfats During The '30's. Miss Howard Recorded Forty Selections, Proving Herself To Be A Versatile Singer Able To Bridge The Gap Between Classic Blues And Swing. During The Mid-1940's, Big Broonzy And Willie Dixon Featured Rosetta On Of Few Of The Recordings. After Those Sessions She slipped Into Obscurity. Rosetta Howard Passed On In 1974.
