Chamblee Grew Up In Chicago With Close Friend Dinah Washington, Cut A Few Sides As a Leader Working Alongside Pianist Sonny Thompson; A Collaboration That Saw Several Songs Topping The Charts In The Late 1940's. For The Next Fifty-Years, Chamblee's Talents Were In Great Demand - Playing His Final Gig With the "Harlem Blues & Jazz Band" The Day Before His Passing In 1999.
