Born In Orange County North Carolina, Council Played With The Chapel Hillbillies Before Taking His Piedmont Style Of Playing To The Streets Of Durham.Liking What He Was Hearing, A Local Record Store Owner Accompanied Council And Blind Boy Fuller To A New York City Recording Studio In 1935, Recording Several Tracks Together And Solo. Sonny Terry Joined Dipper Boy For A Few Other Sessions; That Would Be The Extent Of His Catalog. Very Few Records Are Known To Exist Exclusively Featuring Council's Work. Floyd Council Passed On In 1976.
