On Tuesday, May 17th Listening Room welcomes Songtellers: Stories & Songs Local Spins Edition at 7:30PM.  

Continuing the celebration of Local Spins Fest, host Nicholas James Thomasma invites Michigan Songwriters in the round including: rock multi-instrumentalist Patty PerShayla, hip hop cellist Jordan Hamilton, punk guitarist Julio Gomez and singer-songwriter Eric Englade sharing an evening of songs and stories.

In this Tony Award winning play by Neil Simon, six army recruits are thrown in with a sadistic drill Sargent. They are confronted by bigotry and homophobia as well as the urges of young men being from far from home. 
 
This comedy runs until May 22nd on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at GRCC's Spectrum Theatre downtown.
