Blues Spotlight: Little Jerry Williams - R&B And Soul Singer Little Jerry Williams Has Been Described As "One Of The Great Cult Figures Of 20th Century American Music. Recording His First Single In 1954 At Twelve Years Of Age, Little Jerry Continued Recording Singles For A Number Of Labels. National Chart Success Came In 1966. This Was Short-Lived. Producing And Writing Successfully for Other Musicians Seemed To Be His Forte; Patty LaBelle & The Blues Bells, Gary U.S. Bonds And Gene Pitney Are Just A Few Artists That Saw Great Success With Williams. Then In 1970, An Alter-Ego Emerged. Under The Monkier Swamp Dogg, Williams Continues To Record, Fifty-Two Years On.
