Singer-songwriter and award winning musician, Bruce Ling is a student and keeper of the history of the timeless musical genre known as Traditional American Music. He will be joined by his wife and guitarist, Becca Ling, and longtime band member, Barb Weatherhead on stand-up bass. Together, they make up Hawks & Owls String Band.
Nobody's Darlin', the preeminent West Michigan all girl string band, will open the show.
These two groups will take the stage at the historic Wealthy Theatre for a night of music and community. Doors open at 6pm, music starts at 7.
All proceeds will go to support the Grand River Watershed Arts and Music Council's programs and work towards the perpetuation of Traditional American Music and music education.
