"Theme" is the first single from the RBGxDD LP and it represents an homage to jazz, hip hop, and timeless afro grooves. The album features Raouf himself, Dan Drohan (Nick Hakim, Olden Yolk, Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT), Jarrett Gilgore (Heart of the Ghost, Jaimie Branch), and Kafari (Sudan Archives, Pink Siifu). Raouf shares, "My friend / collaborator / fellow DJ in New York, Bobbie Johnston, and I started Uno Loop a few years ago. Initially, it was a platform to share vinyl mixes digitally and via cassette mixes, but it evolved to focus more on original releases and back catalog re-issue projects with older artists we’ve been able to meet over the years."
“Sun Go Down†is the second single from his forthcoming album, Blowout. The full project is due out June 30 on Stones Throw.
