Burning Foot Beer Festival is Beer, Bands, Bonfires and the Beach... with over 100 breweries, live music from Julian Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, as well as Tropidelic, a reggae-funk group from Ohio, and CaliKO, a local musician from Muskegon. 

There's also food from local Muskegon restaurants and art installations, including the Flaming Hop Tower and Graffiti Wall.

St. Cecilia announced three additional concerts on their 2023/24 Acoustic Cafe Folk Series. 

Dobro master and 15-time GRAMMY Award-winning performer Jerry Douglas with special guest Bassist Daniel Kimbro will perform at St. Cecilia Music Center on November 16th.

Singer, Songwriter, Poet, Activist, and Multi-instrumentalist Allison Russell brings The Returner Tour to St. Cecilia on January 16th, 2024. 

As well as GRAMMY Award-winning Singer / Songwriter Marc Cohn returning to St. Cecilia Music Center on April 11th, 2024.

The Rapidian's Grand Rapids Documenters trains and pays citizens to report on public meetings.

Their Documenters outreach event will take place at the Hispanic Center of West Michigan on August 17th from 6 to 7:30 pm.
