Welcome to Cobo's Corner, where you get a lot of rock and upbeat music. You'll also frequently hear folk, blues, hip hop, and local/regional music. Jazz and Worldbeat occasionally make their way into the set. I will take requests.
West Michigan's Biggest Night of Music, the WYCE Jammie Awards, returns for its 24th year on Friday, February 23rd, at the Intersection!
This year's Jammies will feature 19 Michigan bands on three stages with award presentations for Best Album of 2023, Song of the Year, the Listener Choice Awards, and more, including the brand new Against All Odds Award presented by Varnum Law.
For the first time, The WYCE Jammies will be offering a VIP experience, which includes access to a private lounge and viewing area, a Jammies 24 shirt, and a signature cocktail courtesy of Stock 'Da Bar Vodka.
Doors for this all-ages event open at 5:30 pm, and music starts at 6. Entry is a suggested donation of $5, and we will also be collecting canned donations at the door for Feeding America West Michigan.
The 2024 WYCE Jammies 24 are presented by Varnum Law... with additional support from Founder's Brewing, Tiger Solar, Patriot Realty, Vertigo Music, and Stock 'Da Bar Vodka.
Opening for Nickel Creek on Tuesday, February 13 at the Kalamazoo State Theatre.
Support for WYCE Comes from the Kalamazoo State Theatre presenting Grammy-winning folk-bluegrass trio, Nickel Creek, taking the stage Tuesday, February 13th at the historic Kalamazoo State Theatre.
Nickel Creek Will be performing at the State Theatre and will be featuring songs from their latest album release, "Celebrants."
Tickets for Nickel Creek at the Kalamazoo State Theatre are on sale now at the State Theatre box office and at kazoostate dot com.
