Circle Theatre is the only community theatre in West Michigan that specializes in summer theatre. Since 1953, Circle has continued to deliver high-quality summer theatre entertainment to audiences. 

Through their Main Stage productions, family-friendly Magic Circle productions, and their Summer Concert Series, Circle Theatre has remained a place for the community to be entertained, challenged and inspired.

The Kent County Health Department (KCHD) is offering free radon test kits to residents throughout January as part of National Radon Action Month.

Radon, a radioactive gas, is undetectable by sight, smell, or taste but it can kill. The only way to know if radon is in your home is through testing. This is an ideal time to test your home as windows and doors are sealed for the winter. 

The Kent County Health Department recommends all homes be tested every two to three years.

Radon testing kits are available during regular business hours at: 

• Kent County Health Department on Fuller Avenue NE; 
• The Kent County Health Department North County Clinic in Cedar Springs; 
• Sheldon Complex Clinic, on Franklin SE
• The Health department's South Clinic located on Kalamazoo SE in Kentwood

Only one radon test kit per household will be provided.

The WYCE Jammie Awards, returns for its 24th year on Friday, February 23^rd, at the Intersection! 

This year's Jammies will feature 19 Michigan bands on three stages with award presentations for Best Album of 2023, Song of the Year, the Listener Choice Awards, and more, including the brand new Against All Odds Award presented by Varnum Law. 

Doors for this all-ages event open at 5:30 pm, and music starts at 6. Entry is a suggested donation of $5, and we will also be collecting canned donations at the door for Feeding America West Michigan.

The 2024 WYCE Jammies 24 are presented by Varnum Law... with additional support from Founder's Brewing, Tiger Solar, Patriot Realty, Vertigo Music, and Stock 'Da Bar Vodka. 

The Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan and Be Nice are sponsoring a Kids And Family Expo at DeVos Place on Saturday, January 27th, from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

The Kids and Family Expo is all about empowering a family's overall wellness through interactive, educational, & physical activities!
