GRPL-BLACK HISTORY MONTH (click for more info)
In honor of black history month this February, the Grand Rapids Public Library is offering special programming for kids, teens, and adults that highlights and celebrates our Black community.

Black History Month programming at the Grand Rapids Public Library includes presentations by GRPL staff, local businesses, and artists throughout February.

Families are invited to visit the Main Library on February 17 for a special showing of the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.  Musically inspired, age-appropriate crafts and popcorn from Mosby's Popcorn will also be available on a first come, first served basis
Black History Month storytimes will highlight Black stories and include songs, fingerplays, and hands-on fun.
