The West Michigan Blues Society is sponsoring a fundraising concert featuring blues artist Ghalia Volt on Tuesday, May 21, at Billy's Lounge in Grand Rapids.

Ghalia Volt is a blues/rock singer, guitarist, drummer, and songwriter from Belgium where she performed punk and rockabilly in bands and busked on the streets of Brussels .

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Tickets and  VIP booths are available online and at the door.

Released in 1980, "The Blues Brothers" chronicles the life of Jake (John Belushi), who after his release from prison, reunites with his brother, Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) -to resurrect their old band, the "Blues Brothers."

WYCE celebrates this timeless film, "The Blues Brothers," on the big screen at Wealthy Theatre TONIGHT..May 21st at 8:00pm. Proceeds benefit WYCE Community Radio!
