Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. is proud to support community-powered radio at WYCE and is excited to host a summer full of events at Las Canchas, the community futsal courts on Seward Avenue, just south of Bridge Street.
On Sunday, June 23, Las Canchas hosts a double-header watch party featuring Germany vs. Switzerland at 3pm in the Euro 2024 tournament, followed by team USA vs. Bolivia at 6pm in the Copa America tournament.
The party starts at 2pm and matches will be shown on a giant LED screen. There will be food trucks, pick-up games and other activities. Adult beverages can be purchased at participating establishments on Bridge Street and brought to the event. The event is open to the public at no charge.
