The Fair Housing Center of West Michigan (FHCWM) is pleased to announce the 18th Annual Lakeshore Friends of Fair Housing Breakfast will take place on Thursday, October 24 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.

The event will be held at The Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville, MI, and will focus on fair housing and the rights of people with disabilities.

There is no cost to attend this event, but advanced registration is required.

In this presentation, Dr. Liette (Lee'-ett) Gidlow of Wayne State University will discuss the development of the League of Women Voters in Grand Rapids and First Lady Betty Ford's historic membership during the fight for the ERA at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum on Thursday, Oct. 17th, at 6:30 p.m.

Winter is coming, and the Hispanic Center needs winter coats to keep families warm! 

Donations are needed now for their Annual Winter Coat Distribution on Saturday, November 16th, at Cesar Chavez Elementary School.

The Hispanic Center will be giving away free winter coats that day. No registration is needed, it's first come, first served. 

If you'd like to donate gently used winter coats or sponsor this event, please call Gaby at 616-742-0221. You can also drop off winter coats and donations at the Hispanic Center Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
