The Grand River Folk Arts Society is a nonprofit volunteer organization whose mission is to enrich people's lives and foster community through traditional music, dance, and song. 

Their next contra dances are scheduled for Friday, November 22, and Friday, December 20, at 7pm, at  5th St Hall,  located at Fifth Street and Davis Northwest in Grand Rapids.
Contra Dance is called by Juliette Levi-Weston, and the music is by Gooder 'n Grits.

Lessons are available for beginners.

Visitors are invited to explore "Ford at 50: Decisions that Defined a Presidency," the new exhibit focusing on some of the difficult and defining decisions President Ford made during his time in the Oval Office.

 

The exhibit features immersive set pieces and showcases nearly a hundred artifacts, many of which have never been publicly displayed.
