GRTV Makers Camp 2025 (click for more info)

GRTV's Media Makers summer camp registration is now open! 

Grand Rapids high schoolers can get hands-on experience creating a live studio TV show, short film, or podcast - and get paid to do it! 

Campers will spend a week learning creative techniques and technical skills, workshopping with local professors, filmmakers, reporters, and radio personalities, all while getting experience with professional production equipment. 

By the end of camp, they'll have a finished project for their portfolio and a free membership to the Community Media Center. 

Applications are open now - spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The events are open to the public at no charge and are designed for all ages, with a special focus on interactive experiences, performances, and discussions.

From K-pop fandoms to Polynesian dance, and even a candid discussion about mental health in the Asian American & Pacific Islander community, Grand Rapids Public Library encourages you to be a part of these events.
