KDL - Write Michigan 2025 (click for more info)
The Kent District Library is pleased to announce its fourteenth annual Write Michigan Short Story Contest, which drew over 1,000 entries last year.  

Michigan writers of all ages are invited to enter, with separate categories for youth, teens, and adults. 

Stories can be submitted at writemichigan.org through Saturday, November 15. 

There is a 3,000-word maximum length, and the contest is open to current Michigan residents only.

Winning entries will be published, and the top writers will receive cash prizes.

The series kicks off this Thursday, September 11, with a solo performance by guitarist Chris Cranick. Next week is the Brandino Extravaganza on Thursday, September 18, followed by Red Thyme Duo on Thursday, September 25.
