...... this Stephen Stills album track, will get new life as a popular rewrite in 1970, becoming the lead song, "Carry On", on Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's, "Deja Vu".
[monday, 18 august 1969, 3am-ish] ... following Crosby, Stills & Nash's opening acoustic set at Woodstock; as CSN's "electric band" comes on stage (which includes Stills' former "Springfield" bandmates, Neil Young and bassist Bruce Palmer), they are introduced by the stage announcer, as the "Buffalo Springfield". (note: the trio of "Crosby, Stills & Nash", were introduced at Woodstock, as "Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young".)
the intro to this Neil Young suite is Dewey Martin singing "Mr. Soul", (which Neil originally sang lead on).
