The Show

Havin' fun on a Saturday afternoon at Eighty-Eight Point One-of-a-Kind, WYCE!

About J.R.

I have been programming at WYCE since January of 2006, but have been listening for many years before that. I am not a musical expert, as I listened to classic rock and country for many years. Finally I found WYCE, and wanted to learn all about this great music. I try not to be predictable in my shows. There is such a variety of great music in the WYCE library, I try to mix it up each and every week! I love the Saturday afternoon shift, trying to help you enjoy your weekend. I try to play a wide variety of music: all genres, old songs, new ones, and local music, with a generally upbeat flavor. I figure most folks are ready to party or relax on a Saturday. But if you are working, then you really need a lift! Call me with a request, or just to say "Hey". Three fun facts about J.R.: 1. I'm from Pittsburgh. Go Steelers! 2. I've been diving in shark infested Caribbean waters. 3. I've jumped out of a perfectly good airplane, twice! See you at the next WYCE concert!
