Submit Your Show

As a true free-speech forum, anyone living in the Greater Grand Rapids area can submit programming that will air on GRTV as long as it is non-commercial in nature.  This means GRTV will not censor your programming for language, content, length, format, quality, or for any reason outside of you selling a product or service on your show.

To Turn In Programming

Each show must be accompanied by an Application for Cablecast Form.

By file - A program of any file format can be submitted, however, your show will get on air faster and broadcast in the best quality if you conform to GRTV broadcast standards (listed below). If you are not sure about the sepcifications of your show/video file, feel free to submit anyways and we will let you know if there are any issues. You may bring your file in during GRTV open hours (Mon, Wed, Fri 12-9pm), or upload it to the GRTV Programming Dropbox.

GRTV Broadcast Standards:

  • NTSC
  • .mp4, .mpeg, or .mov file extension
  • 1920x1080 resolution size
  • AAC Audio at 48Kb sample rate
  • 29.97 frame rate

By DVD or Tape - You can bring your DVD or send it by mail to GRTV at 711 Bridge St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.  If you bring your DVD down, you can turn in your program to the CMC Receptionist during regular business hours Mon-Sat 10am-6pm.

**Due to COVID19 social distancing, we are not accepting in-person drop-offs, until further notice. You are still welcome to mail in your physical media if you wish. **
