Join GRTV for an Exciting Volunteer Opportunity: A Glimpse of Africa!
We have an incredible opportunity for you to get involved and be part of something truly special! GRTV is hosting a live television production called A Glimpse of Africa, and we would love to have you as a volunteer. This event is all about celebrating the diverse and rich African cultures through music, dance, fashion, art & crafts, and community activities.
On Saturday, August 12th, from 10 am to 10 pm, we'll be broadcasting the event live, and we need your help to make it a success. No experience is necessary! Whether you're a camera pro or completely new to television production, our friendly staff will be there to provide training and support. It's a fun way to enjoy the festival and learn how to use the equipment with our guidance.
We welcome volunteers aged 13 and over, and we're proud to offer handicap accessibility for director positions. At GRTV, inclusivity is important to us, and we want to ensure that everyone has the chance to participate and contribute their unique talents.
A Glimpse of Africa is the largest African Cultural Festival in West Michigan, attracting over 4,000 people each year. By volunteering with GRTV, you'll play a crucial role in capturing the vibrant spirit of the festival and sharing it with a wider audience.
