Hart is a native of Glasgow, Scotland who is currently on tour in Europe opening for Kris Kristofferson. Bookmarks is the debut album from this 26 year old, and was released in the US in March 2007. The album features guest performances by artists Eddi Reader and Kris Kristofferson. Roddy has toured and played shows in America (including South by Southwest), Japan, Spain, Ireland and the UK, and opened for artists such as Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Ray LaMontagne, Teddy Thompson, and Rosanne Cash. Hart recently recorded songs with Ryan Adams and Brad Pemberton from the Cardinals, and completed tour support for Scottish favorites the Deacon Blues and Eddi Reader on both of their UK tours.
