The eleven track album consists of “no-bull, sweetly flavored, sensibly paced and craftily crafted rock and roll music.” Under the influence of Mexican weddings, irritable toddlers, and the sunset-stripped sounds of sixties West Coast pop, the Shakes on their third album set their sites on the tragic remains of their Silver Lake.
