This is the freshman effort from this band from Bright Indiana and after only one listen I believe their future will be equally as bright. Peppertown combines west coast 70’s Country-Rock sounds that brings in mind the sounds of the Eagles or at times Poco. That being said their sound is as fresh as any disc I have listened to in the New Year. The melodies are infectious and caught this reviewer singing along after only one listen. All 11 tracks are airplay worthy, but “Pocket Full of Dreams” & “Firefly” are standouts. “My Addictions” is a rocking tune that many listeners will relate to and as far as originalality goes they have recorded the only blues tune that I can name about a Tractor. Excellent songwriting, vocals and musicianship make Firefly a real treat. Gregg Saur
