Yo La Tengo

I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass

2006-09-11

Well, there goes the theory that the first album that you hear of a band always remains your favorite. This release is their most mature release to date while at the same time a regression to just letting go and putting out something fun. How cool. Oh, and theres a web site, “IM NOT AFRAID OF YOU AND I WILL BEAT YOUR ASS COM,” where you can videotape yourself reading the album title and post it for all to see and giggle about. –Pete Drover
